Lyte goes global with acquisition of Festicket and Event Genius

A nice surprise arrived at the Event Genius by Festicket offices this week in the shape of an award nomination for the Festival Supplier Awards 2020. We’re shortlisted in the Best Festival Tech Supplier category for the deployment of our cashless technology Event Genius Pay.
Our Head of Operations Lauren Lytle is also up for the Unsung Hero award in recognition of all the incredibly hard work she's put in to the business since upping sticks from America in 2018. Votes can be cast for Lauren here. Now in their sixth year, the Festival Supplier Awards were developed to recognise, reward and promote best practice in the outdoor event and festival sector. Michelle Tayton, event director of the Festival Supplier Awards comments: “The quality of our shortlisted suppliers is outstanding, a welcome reminder of the excellence and professionalism that exists within the outdoor event and festival industry.”
With a focus on delivery, customer service and sustainable initiatives, the awards are judged by an esteemed panel of high profile industry experts.
